One of my favorite artists, Hollis Brown Thornton, is currently having two shows– right here in the dirty south!  I especially liked the installation photos, from “The Geography of Space” at Sumter County Gallery of Art, and “PHOTO-BASED” at Barbara Archer Gallery.

I love how this image is interpreted 3 ways: transfer, marker, & oil paint.
